Maha Shivaratri – Embracing the Infinite
February 25 @ 5:48 pm - February 26 @ 6:37 am

Maha Shivaratri Celebration – A Night of Transformation
Tomorrow, Tuesday at 5:48PM, we will celebrate Maha Shivaratri, an ancient tradition honoring the cosmic dance of Shiva (Third Eye and Consciousness) and Parvati (the Universal Mother, the Divine Feminine). This sacred night symbolizes the union of the individual soul with higher consciousness, a time for powerful manifestation, breaking limitations, and harmonizing the divine feminine and masculine within and around us.
Shiva is the Lord of Sankalpa (intention), representing the willpower to define and achieve our goals. Maha Shivaratri happens on the darkest night of the lunar month, signifying the dissolution of ignorance and the awakening of inner wisdom.
From sunset to sunrise, we stay awake in deep reflection and meditation, keeping our spine erect to align with the cosmic movement of divine energies.
During this night, we perform Pujas—rituals of prayer, mantra chanting, and sacred offerings to honor divine power. Here’s what you’ll need for the Maha Shivaratri Puja:
- A stone or crystal representing Shiva
- A small plate for Shiva to rest on (that can get wet/sticky)
- Two flowers
- One incense stick
- One candle
- A cup of water
- Small amounts of
- Milk
- Yogurt
- Ghee
- Honey
- One piece of fruit
### Fasting Recommendation:
Fasting from sunset (Tuesday) to sunrise (Wednesday) is highly recommended.
