In October several of my family members came to our house to prepare for Isha’s arrival. We called it a “Nesting Party”. I was quite busy with work and being very pregnant, so having my family come to help set up the room was an absolute godsend of a blessing. Each person could choose what they wanted to contribute, with no real direction from me on how it should be. Only that we need a few functional necessities. What arose from everyone’s inspiration was to paint a big beautiful sun along one side of the baby’s room, and little touches of lions everywhere. It was such a surprise, and I had yet to understand why Isha was calling in so much sun and lion energy.
Flash forward to her birth. The labor came on me slow, but in the late evening of Nov. 10th, it hit like a hammer. After only 6 hours of intense labor, she was born under a moon that was in the sign of Leo. Her first breath was a roar of embodiment. She had arrived; entering into this world as a beacon of light and health. Her full name means Courageous Goddess. The spiral at the crown of her head marks the portal where she entered into this body at just the right time. The Hydrogen which erupted in one of the biggest solar flares on record announced her coming. The bright flare of Hydrogen ignites within to give us the strength to persevere.
The connection of it all enlivens my joy and inspiration for my daughter’s life, and all that she came here to do.
