Chakra: Throat
♊️ Sign: Gemini
Mantra: I Communicate Hydrogen. I communicate my name and the universe responds.
🔥 Activation: Breathe in, emit a brief sound, and feel the vibration in the throat.
Immediately when I opened today’s blog, I felt a tension in my body. In my astrological chart, I have both the Sun and Chiron in Gemini. My sense of self along with my trauma. Along with having a lisp, I was also consistently made fun of and put down for my verbal contribution to situations involving my siblings. To top it off, my parents also struggled with their communication and so they modeled a very ineffective way to interact in real life. The result was a very painful childhood of being silent for fear of speaking, and being misunderstood and ridiculed when speaking my mind.
When I became an adult, I endeavored to correct my issues and fears surrounding speech by joining debate clubs, taking executive speech courses, personal development programs, and eventually became a teacher and consultant where I would need to communicate my thoughts concisely and without preparation. I’m lucky that Mars is right there with my Sun and Chiron in Gemini. It granted me the tenacity to work hard to improve my communication in the face of my deep trauma and subpar social skills. Even still, the most effective transformation of my communication came when I began to chant Sanskrit.
Sanskrit is considered a vibratory language. The essence of what the word is referring to correlates with the sound vibration of the combination of Sanskrit syllables referencing it. So if I say ‘dum’ in Sanskrit, it represents the vibration of confusion. To chant Sanskrit is to activate the vibrations of all existence. These vibrations are directed and organized through various rituals; using invocation and geometry to pull frequencies into the desired formation. For me, this practice is what opened my voice, transformed my negative thoughts, and cleared the way for me to access my own innate power. The process after that is to cultivate that power; a journey that is still in progress.
In Sanskrit, each consonant innately ends with an ‘a’. This only changes if a mark is added to signify a different vowel or a compound syllable. While reading today’s Alkhemia Path blog, this is how I relate to Hydrogen in Gemini. It is the ‘a’ between the definition, the vibrational bond which strings together the various expressions of the universe. The ‘ah’ sound which gives Sanskrit verses the melodic flow of rhythm. The continuous beat that strings together the thoughts, ideas, opinions and all other vibrations worth communicating. The connector of coherence. Without this, our communication is confusing, disjointed, and ineffective.
So today, as Isha and I activate Hydrogen in Gemini, we use our voices to be HEARD. We breathe in, and exhale the importance of our contribution.
I COMMUNICATE HYDROGEN. I COMMUNICATE MY NAME AND THE UNIVERSE RESPONDS!
