Activation: Gently rotate the ankles to take conscious direction.
“Nothing lasts, but nothing is lost.” A line inspired by the Roman poet Ovid. It is a refreshing reminder that even though we have worked so hard for something that didn’t work out as expected, a purpose can be found amongst the rubble. Change is inevitable.
This is the connection I see to Hydrogen in Capricorn. Hydrogen is the bonded builder of so many amazing molecules, but even the most prevalent combinations, like water, can be broken by simply heating it. The resulting individuated H2O molecules rise into the air as steam, floating off to condense somewhere else. Each time consistently building a new combination of molecules in an endless commitment to formation.
When we look back through our lives as the builder of our story, we can see all the necessary parts that were not failures, just redirections. Every experience, each relationship, all the jobs, tasks, and missions were building this life into the consciousness we are today, and the extraordinary Being we will be tomorrow. This woven existence is the part that is not lost. We get to be the result of our actions. The imperishable Am-ness.
For me, the day came for the molecule that is me to split off into a new body, a new life. To build on what I’ve done, even if it is in a completely different direction. The bonds that I create will strengthen and support her as the foundation to keep building from, just like the the Hydrogen bonds between base pairs of DNA. It is a worthy endeavor, even if it is hard work.
We rotate our ankles together and say,
