Day 7: Lust and Abundance

Meridians: Kidney, Liver, Pericardium

Emotions: Lust and Abundance

One’s desire to conquer others for resources (wealth, land, sex, energy, food) is a sign of an imbalanced root chakra. The instability being experienced is expressed in the disharmonious taking from others.

There is a story in Sanskrit about the battlefield of consciousness. In that story, the first two thought forms to enslave humanity were called Too Much and Too Little. This persistent experience that there is too much of something and not enough of something else has driven humans to unspeakable actions.

We will be working with the kidney, liver and pericardium meridians for this chakra; releasing these stuck emotions and allowing the flow of energy to stabilize and enliven us.

Today’s words are Lust and Abundance.

Lust is the insatiable drive to consume. The feeling of never enough. We balance this with Abundance, the experience of the attainment already existing within us, therefore attracting it to us.
